BETMY Driving School – Terms & Conditions Summary By booking or attending lessons with BETMY Driving School (“BETMY”), you agree to these Terms. BETMY operates as a platform connecting students with self-employed instructors, who are responsible for their own tuition, insurance, and legal compliance. All lessons must be paid at least 7 days in advance using your full name as a reference. Multiple payment methods are accepted; administration fees apply to card and app payments. You must verify all bank details before making payment, as BETMY is not liable for incorrect transfers. A minimum of 72 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a lesson. Late cancellations will be charged in full. Lessons start from 7:30 AM, with fixed pickup locations. If you are late, lesson time will not be extended, and after 15 minutes the lesson may be treated as cancelled. You must hold a valid UK provisional licence, provide a DVLA check code, meet eyesight requirements, and inform your instructor of any medical conditions. Instructors may refuse or terminate lessons if you are unfit to drive or behave unsafely. Driving tests must not be booked without instructor approval. Additional fees apply for use of a vehicle, and no guarantee of passing is given. Vehicle Hire (Strict Liability): Where a BETMY or instructor vehicle is provided, you accept full responsibility for the vehicle at all times. You are liable for any damage, accidents, fines, penalties, theft, or loss occurring during use, regardless of fault. Fuel must be replaced after use, and mileage limits may apply. BETMY accepts no liability for any incident arising from vehicle use. To the fullest extent permitted by law, BETMY is not liable for indirect losses, missed tests, or outcomes. Liability is limited to fees paid. Nothing excludes liability for death, personal injury, or fraud. Your personal data is processed in accordance with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
